Comments: Animals were immunized with peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PMNC) from SLA c haplotype miniature swine.

Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells.

The antibody react with the MHC class I antigen of swine, and is probably heavy chain specific.

It does not cross-react with PMNC from humans, sheep, goats or mice, but does cross-react with cells from commercial varieties of pigs.

Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: 7-34-1細胞The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.

Subculturing: Medium Renewal: 2 to 3 times per week

Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
